Vision
Fuad is the first step toward building a global halal ecosystem. We believe technology should serve the ummah — making halal living easier, accessible, and beautiful for Muslims everywhere.
An AI that instantly determines whether a product is halal or haram by analyzing its composition. Scan any label, get a clear answer.
The first AI language model built to help Muslims with spiritual questions, Islamic knowledge, and daily guidance rooted in authentic sources.
An international platform for Muslim travelers: halal restaurants, prayer spaces, mosque-friendly hotels, and trusted guides worldwide.
A global platform connecting investors with shariah-compliant projects. Ethical finance that grows the ummah's wealth while staying true to Islamic principles.
A halal alternative to Spotify and Apple Music. High-quality streaming for nasheeds, Quran recitations, Islamic lectures, and clean audio content.
We're looking for mentors, partners, and believers in this vision who can help us grow.
Get in TouchAbout
Assalamu Alaikum. I'm Azim Sukhanov, Turkmen by nationality, building this project with my wife.
I have a Master's in Financial Engineering. Finance is a useful craft, but it was never the end goal for me. What I actually want is to build something halal that brings real benefit to people — something I can wake up every morning excited about.
Fuad started because I couldn't find an Islamic app that didn't feel cheap or cluttered. So I made my own. Then it grew. Now it has 200+ reciters, study mode, azkar, muhasaba, and a lot more coming. It turned into the first piece of a much bigger puzzle.
The long-term plan is to build this whole ecosystem closer to the ummah, inshaAllah, and to keep iterating with the community we're building for.
If any of this resonates with you — whether you're a developer, a designer, a mentor, or just someone who believes in the vision — I'd love to hear from you.

FAQ
Fuad is a free Islamic lifestyle app for iPhone. It includes accurate prayer times with live countdown and notifications, Quran reading with Arabic text, transliteration and translation, continuous audio streaming from over 200 reciters, Qibla compass with distance to Mecca, Azkar and Dhikr counter with remembrances across categories, Muhasaba self-reflection journal, and a study mode for learning the Quran ayah by ayah. The app interface is localized across 12 languages.
Fuad uses the adhan-swift library by Batoul Apps, which is one of the most precise prayer time calculation libraries available. It supports 12 calculation methods including Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority, Umm Al-Qura (Saudi Arabia), ISNA (North America), and methods for Turkey, Singapore, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai, Tehran, and Moonsighting Committee. After you grant permission, prayer times are calculated on device from the current location fix.
Over 200 reciters are available through the mp3quran.net API, including Mishary Rashid Alafasi, Abdulrahman As-Sudais, Saad Al-Ghamdi, Maher Al-Muaiqly, and Abdulbasit Abdulsamad. In the current release, all reciters are available without an active subscription.
Yes. Prayer times, Qibla compass, Quran reading and audio, verified Azkar, Muhasaba journal, study mode, Pomodoro, and ambient sounds are available with no ads. The current release has no active in-app purchases.
Fuad is localized across 12 languages: Russian, English, Arabic, German, Persian, French, Indonesian, Malay, Tajik, Turkish, Urdu, and Uzbek. The interface, prayer names, Quran translations, verified Azkar, and app content adapt to your device language. Arabic users see a right-to-left layout with native Arabic Quran text without unnecessary transliteration.
Azkar and Dhikr work fully offline. Prayer times and Qibla are calculated on device; they use a locale default until you grant location and the device provides a current fix. Quran text is cached after first load; Quran audio streams and needs network unless already buffered by iOS.
Study Mode lets you learn the Quran ayah by ayah with precise verse timings from quran.com. You can play, pause, and repeat individual ayahs, choose from 5 study reciters (Mishari al-Afasy, AbdulBaset Murattal, Sudais, Abu Bakr al-Shatri, Sa'ud ash-Shuraym), and use repeat modes (once, 3 times, or loop) to memorize verses. The current ayah is highlighted and auto-scrolled.
Fuad supports 12 prayer time calculation methods: Muslim World League (MWL), Egyptian General Authority of Survey, University of Islamic Sciences Karachi, Umm Al-Qura University Makkah, Dubai, Moonsighting Committee Worldwide, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore (MUIS), Institute of Geophysics University of Tehran, and Diyanet (Turkey).
